Last summer I had a great idea. I wanted to start a senior rep program. I have seen what the local big box store has to offer when it comes to senior photos and the orange skin and fake backgrounds kill me. Those are what my senior photos looked like too 12 years ago! I thought – there has to be something better than this! Your senior photos should reflect your personality, not the studio’s personality. You should get to choose your locations and look flawless – not like you’ve gotten a bad spray tan! When you look back at your senior photos you want them to be timeless and classic, not something you’re going to laugh at in 10-15 years.
So I selected a few reps, set everything up, and then had to have surgery. It put me out of commission from September through February since I had a spinal fusion.
I just scheduled something fun for 2 of the girls that have stuck with me and are still reps and we are going to have a GREAT time shooting their photos in April! I’m also in the process of selecting senior reps for the class of 2018 and those photos will be taken this summer. I am still taking on a few more reps from Yulee High School. While planning all this I realized I never shared Sydney’s senior session.
Sydney grew up on Amelia Island, but moved away as her dad is in the military. She wanted some of her senior photos to take place here because she had such fond memories of where she grew up! It was a gorgeous day for photos and she’s such a naturally pretty girl with a big heart. It makes your job easy when you photograph a sweetheart like this! I have no doubts that Sydney will go on to do big things!
