Sometimes you make big plans and things don’t work out… As soon as we found out Morgan and Vannah would be joining us for a dive vacation in Grand Cayman I started planning an elaborate shoot. I found a florist and fell in love with the bouquet they designed and thought the price was awesome, until I realized that the price was in Cayman dollars and not US dollars. I wanted a beach with a palm tree hanging over the beach – and I couldn’t find one. There was a person in the water photographing his kids who had no intentions getting out of our way… and it was hot. We also planned to attempt an underwater shoot with stingrays in this dress and on the day we planned it for the crystal clear Cayman waters were stirred up and the visibility was maybe 10 feet.
Love is kind of like that too, right? You think it will be easy, but have no idea the challenges you’ll face as a married couple. You make big plans and watch them fall flat. You dream big dreams and keep working towards them every chance you get. You have good days and bad days and AMAZING days. Morgan and Vannah have been at this marriage thing for as long as Keith and I have (and I didn’t know it was possible, but they’re even more laid back than us.) It was so nice to be surrounded by people who enjoy doing life the same way we do. Even though this session isn’t what I planned it to be, I think it turned out even better. I think that happens in love too. It turns out better than you could have ever imagined.
Vannah raises chickens for the fresh eggs, how perfect that this chicken photo-bombed them!
Congrats Morgan & Vannah! Beautiful pictures! Continue to enjoy your adventures of life! Love to you always!
