Destination Weddings have got to be the best way to get hitched! Melody told us when she arrived at Couples San Souci and met with the wedding coordinator they asked her what kind of flowers she wanted, did she bring centerpieces for the tables, etc. Melody blankly looked back at them because she had brought her dress and her groom – what else do you even need for a destination wedding?! The resort took care of flowers, cake, ceremony site and everything else. The ceremony was beautiful! It was held on the “au-natural” beach (don’t worry, they kicked all the nudist off long before the ceremony!)
Keith and I have known Melody since we were all little kids, but we had not seen each other since her sister’s wedding in Mexico 5/6 years ago. We immediately picked up where we left off. Though we only knew Mark through Facebook we liked him immediately and knew that he and Melody really loved each other. Mark (and Mark’s super fun family) are very emotional people! They cried through the toasts at the rehearsal dinner, and to see the way Mark kept looking at Melody while friends told stories of their pasts would bring a smile to anyone’s face!
We spent the rest of their wedding day celebrating and capturing so many beautiful moments as they tied the knot and promised to love one another forever! Enjoy this gorgeous day and congratulations to the newlyweds!! Melody and Mark we loved spending time with you and we’re so excited for you!! Enjoy reliving your day through this post!
Melody tied her grand-mothers rings into her bouquet for her something borrowed!
This was literally the brightest ceremony we have ever shot. It took place at 5pm with the sun directly behind the couple. There were times I could not even see the couple because I was so blind from the sun! I am so happy with how there ceremony images turned out!
Mark and Melody hit the lighting jackpot for there portraits. The sun was just starting to set which makes for the dreamiest light! If you are getting married outside it’s so important to plan for time to take these outside shots! These images are some of my favorite ever taken! It took a while to get the hang of the Chinese lantern send off.
Mark and Melody’s reception was so much fun. The Jamaican people kept the party going and danced along with us until the night was done!
