Amelia Island Photographer – Elizabeth Pointe Lodge

Summer is here and that means I am back at the beach several nights a week taking portraits for people visiting Amelia Island! I try not to take on any weddings in the summer months because it gets so hot here, but the late evenings are perfect for heading to the beach. Jillian found me through Instagram and booked her session for early in their trip which is always a great idea since Florida weather can be rainy in the afternoons – and because no one wants to sport a sunburn in family photos!

Maybe it’s because I’m a boy mom now, but I could not get over how smart and adorable their boy was! Elizabeth Pointe Lodge made the perfect backdrop for their family beach photos on Amelia Island!

Jillian was also extra cute showcasing her baby bump, they are adding baby boy #2 to the family! This sequence of images is my favorite. I love sitting down in the sand with kids and asking them fun questions! It always makes for great expressions!!
